Australian Opal Plain Nugget beads have an asymmetrical shape showing opaque to translucent areas of blue-grey opals with vibrant Play of Color and an organic appearance due to areas of matrix which add soft creamy beige hues. Larger than average size having a waxy luster on the polished body with areas of pitting due to natural surface irregularities.
