Pietersite Faceted Pear Beads measure approximately 9x7mm to 11x7mm in size, have a vitreous luster showing Chatoyancy, the gems are a medium to dark denim blue hue with a chatoyant phenomenon to each stone, the gems have symmetry with excellent faceting and polish, beads have a dark shimmering quality to the opaque gems, and this rare gem is a fine example of the South African sourced stone.
