Schalenblende plain rondelle beads present as an opaque banded formation polished to reveal concentric Sphalerite and Wurtzite with metallic areas of Galena. Schalenblende consists of alternating bands of brown-yellow sphalerite, brunckite and wurtzite, and lustrous galena. Sphalerite and Wurtzite are fluorescent in UV light.
